Angola treats these medications differently. Of the 7 we track, 4 have no published rule we could find and 3 need only your prescription.
Serious penalties: No Angolan government source states what an individual traveller carrying their own prescribed opioid or ADHD stimulant medication should do at the border. The only concrete process published anywhere — ARMED's online import-request system — is built entirely around a licensed pharmaceutical importer (a Pharmaceutical Practice Authorisation number, a Tax Identification Number, and for narcotics a hospital referral letter), not a traveller's own suitcase, and Angola's own customs guide states no traveller rule for medicines (it names medicamentos only in two commercial export-duty provisions).

The guide names medicamentos twice, but only in its commercial export-tariff provisions (a 70% rate on nationalised merchandise), never as a traveller allowance.
