Antigua and Barbuda treats these medications differently. Of the 7 we track, 3 need approval before you arrive, 1 has no published rule we could find and 3 need only your prescription.
Serious penalties: Importing or exporting a controlled drug — which covers every opioid and ADHD stimulant in scope except buprenorphine, tapentadol and lisdexamfetamine — without a section 9 regulatory exemption or a licence from the Minister responsible for the Police is an offence under the Misuse of Drugs Act carrying, on indictment, up to 10 years' imprisonment (Class A/B drugs) or 5 years (Class C drugs) plus a court-determined fine, or on summary conviction a fine of six times the value of the goods (or EC$20,000–200,000 for Class A/B, EC$10,000–100,000 for Class C, whichever is greater) and up to 12 months' imprisonment.

- Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)Unclear
Not listed in Part I, II or III of the First Schedule to the Misuse of Drugs Act, CAP 283, as amended through 2019, and not a stereoisomer, ester, ether or salt of a listed substance. Its one point of exposure is Part II paragraph 4 ('any preparation or other product containing' a listed substance): whether a covalent lysine conjugate of dexamfetamine contains amphetamine is not addressed by the Act or by any Antiguan source and is not resolved here. Nothing else is published about its treatment, so no status can be given.

Methylphenidate, dexamfetamine and amphetamine are Class B controlled drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act, subject to the same section 4 import/export prohibition and Ministerial licence requirement as the opioids. 'Mixed amphetamine salts' (Adderall) is not named separately, but First Schedule Part II paragraph 3 covers any salt of a listed substance and paragraph 4 any preparation or product containing one, so the Schedule covers it in its own terms. No traveller exemption, quantity threshold, application form or fee is published, and the section 9 regulation-making power leaves open whether any exemption has been made. On arrival the mandatory duty is Customs Act s.25 (present baggage, answer all questions); the ArriveAntigua form, which asks about controlled drugs, is an encouraged channel rather than a stated requirement.

Leaving Antigua and Barbuda
Antigua and Barbuda publishes a different rule for taking these medicines out than for bringing them in. Only the differences are below. Anything not listed here is the same as the rule above.
Narcotic (opioids)

Section 4 of the Misuse of Drugs Act applies the same prohibition and licence requirement to exportation as to importation; no separate outbound permit process is published. On departure, section 28 of the Customs (Control and Management) Act, 2013 ('Outgoing baggage to be presented') requires a person embarking for a destination outside Antigua and Barbuda to make accompanying baggage available for examination upon request by the proper officer, and to comply with customs directions about moving it — a weaker duty than the s.25 arrival obligation to present baggage and answer all questions. Knowing failure is an offence liable to a $10,000 fine.
