Lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) is not named in Argentina's law (Law 19.303 psychotropic Lists I to IV (ANMAT consolidated list of 2016 and every later change, to Disposición 3943/2026); the ANMAT narcotics list of 2016; Annex I to Decree 560/2019 as replaced by Decree 122/2026), so no rule for it is published. Ask the authority listed here before you travel.

Argentina tells the INCB that travellers need a valid medical prescription and may bring up to 30 days' supply of psychotropic medicines, which include the ADHD stimulants. Border officials may ask to see the prescription and the treatment your doctor has set out. If you are also crossing to or from Brazil, Paraguay or Uruguay, the regional rule (MERCOSUR Resolution 74/00, art 1) asks for a document showing your name and address, the medicine and its active ingredient, strength, form, quantity and dosage, the date, and your doctor's name, address, signature and registration number. A government summary page describes this as a legalised prescription authorised by the health authority; the rule it summarises (MERCOSUR Resolution 66/00, art 1) requires that only for special cases. We also suggest keeping the medicine in its original packaging. For more than 30 days' supply, contact ANMAT before you travel.
