Congo (Republic of the) treats these medications differently. Of the 7 we track, 4 have no published rule we could find and 3 need only your prescription.
Serious penalties: Loi n°30-2025's only concrete route for bringing narcotic or psychotropic substances across the Congolese border is a commercial import/export licence issued jointly by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Health to a licensed enterprise (Arts. 8-20); an individual traveller cannot obtain it. Unauthorised import/export of a Table I ('high-risk, no medical value') substance carries five to ten years' imprisonment and a fine of 5,000,000 to 50,000,000 CFA francs (Art. 38), and any unauthorised consignment is held pending justification or judicial confiscation (Art. 18). No published rule tells a traveller what to present at the border to avoid that outcome for their own prescribed medication.

The same commercial-only licence (Arts. 8-20), the same Article 52 prescription clause, the same Article 18 unauthorised-entry provision and the same Articles 20-24 transit regime — including the Article 24 airside carve-out for an aircraft that does not land — apply, all carrying the same unresolved question of whether a traveller's own supply is an 'envoi'.
