Denmark treats these medications differently. Of the 7 we track, 3 come in on paperwork with a supply cap, 1 has no published rule we could find and 3 need only your prescription.
Serious penalties: Schedule A substances cannot be brought in by private individuals at all, and medicine with euphoriant substances may never be received by mail.

Brand names first, generic in brackets. Each line resolves the drug class rule below, plus anything Denmark records specifically for that medication.
- Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)Not named: Unclear
Lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) is not named in Denmark's law (Executive Order on Euphoriant Substances, BEK 405 of 2026, Bilag 1 Lists A to E, pages 14 to 47; Agency consolidated list Sam-EUF-10, pages 1 to 33), so no rule for it is published. Denmark's Medicines Agency does not count it among the ADHD medicines with euphoriant substances, so the ordinary rule for medicines covers it (BEK 1523 § 3: own use, lawfully sold, no day limit). Ask the authority listed here before you travel.

Methylphenidate is List B (entry B327 in the Agency's comprehensive list) and covered by the same 30-day, prescription-only traveller allowance confirmed on the Agency's 'Medicines imported from abroad' page; no Danish permit is needed for a standard supply. Ritalin, Concerta and Medikinet are legal with a prescription. For Schengen residents, an Article 75 Schengen certificate counts as proper documentation (BEK 1523 § 7(2)); it is one accepted form of proof, not a requirement. (max 30 days' supply) Carry your prescription and keep it with you for your whole stay in Denmark: the Danish Medicines Agency says you must be able to show that you are being treated with the medicine when you enter and while you are there. In special cases the Agency can also ask for a written statement from your doctor, endorsed by the authority that licensed the doctor (BEK 1523 § 10).

Lægemiddelstyrelsen states travellers may bring medicine containing narcotic substances from lists B, C, D, or E for personal use, up to 30 days' treatment, with only a prescription as documentation. Amphetamine/dextroamphetamine are List B (confirmed in the Agency's comprehensive substance list, entries B049/B133). No permit or Schengen-style certificate is required, so the position for an Australian is a 30-day prescription-only allowance with no permit. - Not required. Prescription is the authorisation; a Schengen certificate (pillepas) can be ordered at a pharmacy. The pillepas (Schengen certificate) is issued only to residents of Denmark ('Pillepasset udstedes gratis til borgere, som er bosat i Danmark'), so it is not a route for an Australian; carry the prescription and a doctor's certificate.

Supplies beyond 30 days need an exemption from Lægemiddelstyrelsen applied for before travel; no lead time is published.
