Eritrea treats these medications differently. Of the 7 we track, 4 have no published rule we could find and 3 need only your prescription.
Serious penalties: Eritrea's own drug-control regulator publishes no traveller guidance and no permit route for opioids or ADHD stimulants, and no candidate government domain serves a website (the health ministry's own moh.gov.er resolves for mail only, with no published address); a foreign-government advisory (Smartraveller) separately warns that penalties for drug-related crimes in Eritrea 'are severe and include long prison sentences,' so a traveller carrying scheduled medication has no published way to establish compliance before arrival.

No Eritrean government source addresses ADHD stimulants for travellers. Eritrea acceded to the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances (30 January 2002), so methylphenidate, dexamfetamine, mixed amphetamine salts and lisdexamfetamine are controlled substances in the country by treaty, but no domestic implementing rule, quantity or permit process for travellers is published anywhere reachable today. The INCB has received no submission from Eritrea. Contact the Eritrean embassy or consulate in your home country before travelling with any stimulant medication. As with opioids, the Ministry of Health's domain (moh.gov.er) carries a live mail record though it serves no website and publishes no mailbox address.
