Moldova treats these medications differently. Of the 7 we track, 4 come in on paperwork with a supply cap and 3 need only your prescription.
Serious penalties: Moldova's law prohibits individuals from importing or exporting medicines containing narcotic or psychotropic substances, except up to 30 days' treatment carried in personal baggage with proof of a prescription in the patient's name (Law 201/2025, article 37, in force 28 August 2026). The 7-day narcotic limit in Moldova's 2014 INCB table comes from Law 382/1999, repealed from 28 August 2026.

- Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)Restrictedmax 30 days' supply
Lisdexamfetamine is in Table II, List 3 (substances under national control) of Government Decision 479/2026, not a 1971 Convention psychotropic. Article 37 of Law 201/2025, which allows up to 30 days' treatment with proof of a prescription in your name, is written for medicines containing narcotic and psychotropic substances, and covers lisdexamfetamine only on a broad reading. If it does not, Customs' general rule for medicines applies, which also needs a prescription and no permit.

Moldova lets travellers carry ADHD stimulants in their personal baggage, up to 30 days' treatment, with proof of a medical prescription issued in the name of the person the medicine is for (Law 201/2025, article 37, in force 28 August 2026). No permit, certificate, authorisation or notification is named. Moldova's Customs Service says the same in its guidance, describing a special or specialist's prescription. Moldova's 2014 INCB table ticks a doctor's certificate endorsed by your home health authority and a certificate from Moldova's health authorities, but it predates the 2025 law.

- Strattera (atomoxetine)Prescription
Atomoxetine, guanfacine and viloxazine are not on Moldova's national tables of controlled substances, so Customs' general rule for medicines applies (Customs guidance citing Law 153/2025 on medicines). Present the prescription or other documents justifying the medicines to the Customs Service.

- Not required. No permit, certificate, authorisation or notification is named in Law 201/2025, article 37. The only condition is proof of a medical prescription in the name of the person the medicine is for, for up to 30 days' treatment.
