Lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) is not named in Tajikistan's law (National List, Government Resolution 121 of 27 Feb 2020, Lists 1 to 3, as published by the Drug Control Agency; later amendments not seen), so no rule for it is published. Ask the authority listed here before you travel.
- Ritalin, Concerta (methylphenidate)Unclear
Tajikistan's official sources do not agree. Its entry in the International Narcotics Control Board travellers' table, dated 11 July 2014, asks only for a valid medical prescription that states the medicine is for therapeutic medical purposes, and gives no supply limit. Its Law No. 873 on narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, article 10, says a permit and an international certificate must be obtained for every import of a psychotropic substance, and that anything brought in without a licence and permit is confiscated. The law has no stated exception for a traveller's own medicine, and the permit procedure (Government Resolution 204 of 2009) is written for licensed pharmaceutical companies, so there is no application a traveller can make. That resolution lets a limited quantity of medicines for personal medical use come in without a permit, but it does not say whether this covers psychotropic substances. Ask the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan (tel +992 234 64 20, e-mail dca@tojikiston.com) for written confirmation before you travel.
