Can I take Concerta to Japan?

The rules for Concerta (methylphenidate (extended release))
Carry up to 2.16 g of methylphenidate with no certificate and no permission needed. Above that, or in injection form, you need a doctor's certificate naming your condition. Separately, more than one month's supply needs a Yakkan Shoumei import confirmation from the Regional Bureau of Health and Welfare covering your arrival airport.
What to do
- for methylphenidate: valid prescription + import certificate (Yakkan Shoumei / Yunyu Kakunin-sho) if over 1-month personal-use amount or in injection form
- doctor's certificate stating the disease, necessity, names of psychotropics and quantities
