The rules for Concerta (methylphenidate (extended release))
30 days; SFDA CDS permit + supporting documents.
Maximum supply: 30 days (Up to 30 days' supply, or the length of your stay if shorter, with an SFDA clearance permit. The SFDA can waive the time limit if the medicine or an alternative is not available in Saudi Arabia.)
What to do
- valid prescription
- detailed medical report approved by the treating institution (issued within the last 6 months)
- pre-approval / clearance permit via the SFDA Controlled Drugs System (CDS) before arrival
- declaration of the controlled medicine at customs
