The rules for Strattera (atomoxetine)
Atomoxetine, guanfacine and viloxazine are not controlled drugs in Japan. You can carry up to one month's supply for your own use with no advance procedure. To bring more than one month's supply, apply online for an Import Confirmation certificate before you enter Japan. The application needs a prescription or doctor's note naming you, the medicine and the doctor, and an itinerary or ticket showing your arrival date, airport and flight. The certificate is normally issued in a few business days. Show it to customs if asked.
Maximum supply: 30 days
Permit: Not required up to 30 days' supply. Above that, it is.
