Can I take Vyvanse to Netherlands?

The rules for Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)

The Article 75 and CAK route is open to Dutch and Schengen-insured residents travelling out, so it is not available to you as a visiting traveller. Official Dutch data submitted to the INCB shows the requirement is a prescription plus a doctor's certificate with a 30-day quantity cap, and that this applies to international travellers. The Netherlands does not name lisdexamfetamine separately, but as a Schedule II psychotropic under the Opium Act it follows the same rule. Arrange the declaration in your own country before you travel, and ask your own doctor or pharmacy which one you need.

Maximum supply: 30 days (30-day Schengen cap, extendable to 90 days with additional CAK forms/certificates (not separately named, inferred to follow same regime))

What to do

  1. valid prescription
  2. doctor's certificate endorsed by the health authorities of the country of residence
  3. a declaration arranged in your own country before you travel. Which one you need depends on where you fly from, so ask your own doctor or pharmacy. The CAK Schengen medicijnverklaring is not it: that is for travel out of the Netherlands within the Schengen area and needs a doctor with a Dutch BIG number.
