Every medication we track can come into Chile on your prescription, carried in original packaging.
By medication
Brand names first, generic in brackets. Each line resolves the drug class rule below, plus anything Chile records specifically for that medication.
- Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)Prescription
Chile requires a valid medical prescription (or, as an alternative, a medical certificate indicating the condition, medicines, dosage and treatment duration) and presentation of the original prescription at customs. The quantity carried must match the prescribed dose and treatment duration. The INCB submission lists no prohibited substances. ADHD stimulants are treated as psychotropic substances.

- Dexamphetamine (dexamfetamine)Prescription

- Strattera (atomoxetine)Prescription
Atomoxetine, guanfacine and viloxazine are not internationally scheduled; carry with a normal prescription in original packaging.

Narcotic (opioids)

- Quantity must correspond to the prescribed dose and treatment duration

- Not required. No permit for medicine carried in luggage; prescription/medical certificate (≤6 months, Spanish translation advised).

Psychotropic (ADHD stimulants, benzodiazepines, sleep)

- Quantity carried must correspond to the prescribed dose and duration of treatment as indicated in the prescription or medical certificate
- Permit
- Not required. No Chilean authorisation. Chile asks for a valid medical prescription and the original prescription presented at customs. It does not ask for a certificate from its own health authorities.
Not internationally controlled
PrescriptionAtomoxetine, guanfacine and viloxazine are not internationally scheduled; carry with a normal prescription in original packaging.
