Chile's rules apply generically to psychotropic substances, so methylphenidate in any formulation (Ritalin, Concerta) is allowed with a valid prescription or a medical certificate detailing condition, medicines, dosage and duration, presented in original form at customs. The quantity must match the prescription; no advance permit is required and no substances are listed as prohibited.
