Portugal treats these medications differently. Of the 7 we track, 4 come in on paperwork with a supply cap and 3 need only your prescription.

Brand names first, generic in brackets. Each line resolves the drug class rule below, plus anything Portugal records specifically for that medication.
- Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)Restrictedmax 30 days' supply
Carry a valid prescription; psychotropic (stimulant) medicines are limited to a 30-day supply. Governed by Article 13 of Decree-Law No. 15/93 of 22 January. For Schengen travel a Schengen certificate is used; INFARMED is the competent authority.

- Permit
- Not required. No authorisation. A valid medical prescription is the only document Portugal asks for, covering a 30-day supply, under Article 13 of Decree-Law 15/93 of 22 January. No certificate from your home or Portuguese health authorities is required.
Not internationally controlled
PrescriptionAtomoxetine, guanfacine ER and viloxazine are not internationally scheduled; a normal prescription suffices.
