Can I take Concerta to Portugal?

The rules for Concerta (methylphenidate (extended release))
Portugal applies its general rule for psychotropic medicines to methylphenidate: a valid prescription and a maximum 30-day supply, under Article 13 of Decree-Law 15/93. This is confirmed by INFARMED's 2024 report to the INCB. The release form (Ritalin, Concerta, Medikinet) makes no difference.
Maximum supply: 30 days (Blanket 30-day supply cap for psychotropic substances (Article 13, Decree-Law 15/93))
What to do

- Schengen certificate (for Schengen travel). This is issued by your own country of residence and only covers travel between Schengen countries, so if you are flying in from Australia you cannot get one and do not need it.
