The rules for Concerta (methylphenidate (extended release))

No Greek authority publishes a rule for a traveller carrying their own prescribed methylphenidate into Greece. EOF's website, its electronic services list and its procedures and supporting documents list were checked, along with the Ministry of Health's narcotics section and the AADE customs traveller guide, which does not mention narcotic or psychotropic medicines at all. The only import and export licence published on the national registry of administrative procedures is a process for pharmaceutical companies. No Greek government source treats methylphenidate differently from the amphetamine type stimulants, and none sets out a form, a document list or a quantity for it. Greece has made no INCB submission. The absence of a published rule is not permission: Law 4139/2013 criminalises unauthorised import of narcotics and psychotropics and no traveller exemption was found. EOF, the National Organisation of Medicines, is the authority to ask, on +30 213 2040 000.
