The rules for Dexamphetamine (dexamfetamine)

Allowed with a prescription, up to one month's supply. Verified against the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 (Act 234) First Schedule in the current online reprint, read on 2026-08-01, which post-dates the 2021 and 2023 amendment orders. "Amphetamine" is listed in Part III of the First Schedule and the isomer clause catches dexamfetamine, so these are dangerous drugs in Malaysia. That carries a stricter obligation than the other ADHD medicines: declare them actively at the border rather than waiting to be asked, with the prescription or an English doctor's letter and the original packaging. There is still no permit to apply for.

Maximum supply: 30 days (One month's supply, worked out from the dosage on the label.)
