Can I take Concerta to Malaysia?

The rules for Concerta (methylphenidate (extended release))
Allowed with a prescription, up to one month's supply. Verified against the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 (Act 234) First Schedule in the current online reprint, read on 2026-08-01, which post-dates the 2021 and 2023 amendment orders. Methylphenidate is not in the First Schedule, which confirms it is controlled as a psychotropic substance under the Poisons Act rather than as a dangerous drug. Show your prescription or doctor's letter to the officer on arrival; there is no permit to apply for.
