Can I take Dexamphetamine to Sri Lanka?

The rules for Dexamphetamine (dexamfetamine)

Sri Lanka's National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) publishes one instruction for travellers carrying their own medicine. No prior NMRA approval is needed for the quantity required for the length of the stay or up to 90 days, whichever is less. The medicine must be in its original container, or labelled to identify its name, strength and usage instructions, and medical records or the prescription must be produced when required. Prior NMRA approval is needed above the 90-day quantity. NMRA also states that medicine specified in Schedule III of the Cosmetics, Devices and Drugs Act is not permitted under that allowance, and separately states that psychotropic substances sit in Schedule IIB rather than Schedule III. Placing dexamfetamine and mixed amphetamine salts inside the 90-day allowance comes from reading those two NMRA statements together. No NMRA text names these medicines, and NMRA does not say in so many words that ADHD stimulants qualify, so this is an interpretation of two statements rather than a published rule for these medicines. NMRA also could not be shown to publish a product register confirming which stimulant products are registered in Sri Lanka. Maximum supply: 90 days (The quantity needed for the length of the stay, or 90 days, whichever is less. Above that, prior NMRA approval is required. The 90 days is NMRA's general traveller allowance, and it reaches stimulants only on the reading that they are Schedule IIB and so are not the Schedule III medicine NMRA excludes.)
