Can I take Dexamphetamine to Taiwan?
According to Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA), Ministry of Health and Welfare; Customs Administration, Dexamphetamine (dexamfetamine, sold as Dexedrine) may not be permitted in Taiwan, even with a prescription. We have not been able to confirm this against a current national source, so do not travel with it until you have checked directly.

The rules for Dexamphetamine (dexamfetamine, sold as Dexedrine)
Banned. Amphetamine and dexamfetamine and their salts, which include mixed amphetamine salts, are prohibited drugs (禁藥) under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, art 22(1)(1), by Ministry of Health and Welfare announcement 衛授食字第1141419035號 of 29 August 2025, continuing a ban in place since 1980. The Act's exception for travellers' own medicines covers only unapproved imports (item 2), not prohibited drugs, and importing a prohibited drug is an offence under art 82. There is no permit or exemption a traveller can apply for.
Confirm this yourself: We could not verify this ban against a current national government source, so treat it as a ban until you have confirmed it. Ask Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA), Ministry of Health and Welfare; Customs Administration or Taiwan's embassy in writing before you book, and keep their reply with your travel documents.
