The rules for Concerta (methylphenidate (extended release))
Schedule 3 controlled drug (派醋甲酯, TFDA consolidated schedule). Carry a doctor's prescription or medical certificate; you may bring up to the quantity on it and at most 6 months' supply. An optional, free statement can be filed with the TFDA (Enforcement Rules of the Controlled Drugs Act, art 18), taking about 7 working days.
Maximum supply: 180 days (Up to the quantity on the prescription or medical certificate, and at most 6 months' supply (stated for controlled drugs).)
What to do
- valid prescription or diagnosis certificate from a medical institution
- pharmacy bag or a container labelled with the prescription details (advised)
- optional: a free TFDA statement with a doctor's certificate (about 7 working days)
