The rules for Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)

Nothing Taiwan publishes settles what a traveller carrying lisdexamfetamine may do. The Ministry of Health and Welfare announcement of 7 October 2015 added lisdexamfetamine to Schedule 2 of the controlled-drug schedules and, in the same announcement, states that amphetamine-class medicines are prohibited drugs (禁藥) under Article 22(1)(1) of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, meaning the medicine is not approved for sale in Taiwan. No page was found describing a lawful way for a traveller to bring it in, and nothing states whether a foreign prescription makes any difference. Separately, TFDA's general rule for controlled medicines is that a traveller carries the doctor's prescription or medical certificate, carries no more than the reasonable dosage stated on that document and at most a six-month supply, two months without those documents, and hand-carries the medicine, since controlled drugs may never be posted or couriered. That rule is written for controlled drugs generally and no TFDA page applies it to ADHD stimulants. The pages checked were the MOHW and TFDA traveller guidance, the TFDA Schedule 1 to 3 patient statement procedure, and the controlled-drug schedule announcements; the official master schedule list PDF would not open.
