Every medication we track can come into France on your prescription, up to 90 days' supply, carried in original packaging.

Brand names first, generic in brackets. Each line resolves the drug class rule below, plus anything France records specifically for that medication.
- Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)Prescriptionmax 90 days' supply
France (EU/Schengen) allows ADHD stimulants (psychotropic substances) for personal use with a valid prescription, generally up to a 3-month supply. Schengen-area residents should carry an Article 75 Schengen certificate issued by their home competent authority; present the original prescription at customs.
- Ritalin, Concerta (methylphenidate)Prescriptionmax 90 days' supply
France's INCB table allows psychotropic substances for three months on a prescription, with no methylphenidate exception. ANSM's own traveller page lists methylphenidate among the molecules for which a transport attestation is often required, capped at 28 days like the opioids; that page is written for people leaving France and it is not stated whether the same applies on entry. The two are not reconciled. Carry the original prescription with an English or French translation, and keep to 28 days' supply where you can.

- 90 days. Psychotropic substances: 3 months supply (stimulant ADHD meds); certain exceptions limited to 28 days (high-dose buprenorphine, clorazepate 20mg, tianeptine, zolpidem). Narcotic drugs: 28 days.
- Permit
- Not required. No French authorisation is asked for on the INCB table: a valid prescription covers up to three months' supply. ANSM separately names methylphenidate among molecules for which its transport attestation is often required (28 days); see the methylphenidate override.
Not internationally controlled
PrescriptionAtomoxetine, guanfacine ER and viloxazine are not internationally scheduled; bring with prescription in original packaging. No specific France ban found.
