The rules for Qelbree (viloxazine)
Atomoxetine, guanfacine and viloxazine are ordinary prescription medicines in Austria and need no permit. The Ministry of Health's page gives a maximum of three retail packs of the smallest size. The law is wider: it lets travellers bring an amount that matches their usual personal need (Medicinal Products Import Act 2010, § 11(1) item 6), and Austrian customs says visitors may bring what they need during the trip. Nothing published says which applies to a visitor, so we suggest planning for the three pack limit. The Ministry also asks for a confirmation from your treating doctor showing your personal details, the need to continue treatment, and the generic name and dosage of the medicine. It recommends a certified German translation if the confirmation is not in German, and keeping the medicine in its original packaging.
