The rules for Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)
Lisdexamfetamine is treated the same as other ADHD stimulants under the same Ministry guidance. Personal-use quantities matching your trip length need only a prescription or doctor's letter for stays of 5 to 30 days, with no Austrian import permit and no Article 75 equivalent certificate available to, or required of, Australian visitors. Vyvanse and Elvanse are legal with a prescription. The same Schengen Certificate requirement applies as for other controlled stimulants for travel within the Schengen area.
What to do
- valid prescription (for trips of 5-30 days; not needed for trips under 5 days)
- for Schengen residents, a Schengen certificate. This is issued by your own country of residence and only covers travel between Schengen countries, so if you are flying in from Australia you cannot get one and do not need it.
- certificate issued by the competent authority of the country of residence for amounts exceeding the stated limits
