The rules for Ritalin (methylphenidate)

No Cambodian government source, from Customs or the Ministry of Health, addresses personal import of methylphenidate or of psychotropic substances generally for travellers, whatever the release form.

What to do

  1. import permission/permit from the Ministry of Health (Food and Drug Department) for psychotropic substances
  2. valid prescription
  3. doctor's letter/medical certificate (in French recommended) stating condition, quantity, dosage, frequency and dates of arrival/departure
  4. customs declaration

Confirm this yourself: We could not find strong recent official guidance for Cambodia. Contact Ministry of Health - Food and Drug Department (Department of Drugs and Food) or Cambodia's embassy directly before you travel.
