The rules for Ritalin (methylphenidate)
Fimea requires only a prescription or doctor's certificate from non-Schengen travellers, capped at 14 days' supply, with no separate permit. Methylphenidate is available on prescription in Finland. Narcotic-classified CNS medicines need a Schengen certificate, obtainable at a Finnish pharmacy, for travel within Schengen.
