The rules for Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)

Lisdexamfetamine is not named on the First, Second or Third Schedule of the Dangerous Drugs Act 2000 in the consolidated text sighted, which shows the First Schedule as amended to 2013. Mauritius has filed nothing with the INCB, and no other Mauritian source addressing this medicine was found, so how it is classified is unpublished. Not being on a schedule is not permission to carry it: the substances closest to it, dexamfetamine and amphetamine, are on the First Schedule and are prohibited outright under section 6, including in transit, while methylphenidate sits on the licensable Second Schedule, so nothing about Mauritian scheduling of ADHD medicines can be read across. The Pharmacy Board at the Ministry of Health and Wellness, on +230 490 4200, is the authority that can confirm the position in writing before travel.
