Brand names first, generic in brackets. Each line resolves the drug class rule below, plus anything Vanuatu records specifically for that medication.

• Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine)Not named: Unclear

  Lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) is not named in Vanuatu's law (Dangerous Drugs Act [CAP 12], s 2 list, pages 2 to 8), so no rule for it is published. Ask the authority listed here before you travel.

• Ritalin, Concerta (methylphenidate)Prescription

  Methylphenidate, amphetamine and dexamfetamine are prohibited substances under Vanuatu's Dangerous Drugs Act, with an exemption for a preparation you carry in for personal use if it is a reasonable amount, is accompanied by a letter from your doctor in your home country, and is labelled with its correct name (section 3). All three conditions apply together. Vanuatu Customs also names medicines among the goods you must declare, so answer Yes to the medicines question on the passenger arrival card (question 16).

• Dexedrine (dexamfetamine)Prescription

  The same rule as Ritalin, Concerta above.

• Strattera (atomoxetine)Prescription

  Atomoxetine, guanfacine and viloxazine are not on Vanuatu's Dangerous Drugs Act list. Vanuatu Customs names medicines among the goods you must declare on arrival, so answer Yes to the medicines question on the passenger arrival card (question 16). We also suggest carrying your prescription and keeping the medicine in its original packaging.

• Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts)Prescription

  The same rule as Ritalin, Concerta above.

• Intuniv (guanfacine)Prescription

  The same rule as Strattera above.

• Qelbree (viloxazine)Prescription
