Can I take Adderall to Maldives?

Adderall is a mix of dextroamphetamine and levoamphetamine; dexamfetamine is dextroamphetamine on its own, and international drug schedules list them as separate substances. The rules for Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts)

Amfetamine and dexamfetamine are in Schedule 2 of the Drugs Act 17/2011, and s 119(a) makes importing them an offence without written authorisation from the ministry responsible for drug prevention (s 190(m)); MFDA issues the import certificate. No processing time is published. MFDA guideline 4.9 and the customs page describe a prescription-based personal-import route for controlled drugs, so practice may be softer. Neither is on MFDA's September 2026 Approved Drug List. A prescription alone may not be enough: ask for written permission before you travel and carry it with your prescription. The guideline says the prescription should show a serial number and date, your name, age, sex, address and diagnosis, the generic name, form and strength of the medicine, the total quantity in words and figures, the dose, how often it is taken, the length of treatment, and the doctor's name, registration number, signature and the seal of the practice. For more than three months' supply, also carry documents on the history of your illness.

Maximum supply: 30 days (30 days' supply, or up to 90 days for a patient with a chronic illness (MFDA guideline 4.9.1, page 12), if the prescription route is accepted. Documents about the patient's illness history are needed only for more than three months' stock.)
