Can I take Concerta to Italy?

The rules for Concerta (methylphenidate (extended release))
Italy applies the same rule to methylphenidate as to its other ADHD stimulants: a home-country certificate or Italy's Annex 1 certificate is required for entry, based on a prescription of no more than 30 days, unless you carry only one package, in which case a plain prescription is enough. The release form (Ritalin, Concerta, Medikinet) does not change this.
Maximum supply: 30 days (30-day cap for narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances; same certificate regime as other ADHD stimulants)
What to do
- valid medical prescription
- Schengen certificate (Annex I of the Decree of 16 November 2007) for travel between Schengen states. This is issued by your own country of residence and only covers travel between Schengen countries, so if you are flying in from Australia you cannot get one and do not need it.
